Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer is responsible for implementation and maintenance of internal company software applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
- Work with other team members in a paired-programming environment to develop quality C#/.NET, T-SQL code.
- Conduct project task estimation.
- Develop automated unit tests following a test-first methodology.
- May need to work occasional off hours/weekends to support 24x7 production systems.
- Some business travel may be required.
Required Experience and Skills:
- BS required (degree in Computer Science or other engineering/scientific field preferred).
- C# / .Net programming experience.
- T-SQL programming experience preferred
- Strong understanding of object oriented design.
- Experience in an agile development environment a plus.
- Can work productively and pro-actively without supervision.
- Strong analytical ability and detail oriented.
